Stages of Grow
Grain Spawn
Grain spawn is the starting point of cultivation, where mycelium is introduced to a nutrient-rich grain medium and begins to expand. The system maintains stable temperature, elevated humidity, and minimal airflow to support rapid and consistent growth. This stage produces a fully colonized base that can be used to inoculate larger substrates for the next phase.
Colonization
During colonization, mycelium expands through its substrate. The system maintains high humidity, stable temperature, and reduced airflow. This stage builds the foundation for growth.
Fruiting
When conditions are right, the system transitions to fruiting. Airflow increases, CO₂ levels drop, humidity is optimized, and light is introduced. This triggers pinning and rapid mushroom development.
